These 18 gondolas are in use in a theme park in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
The security concept including passenger restraint system and emergency exit (through the roof) was approved by TüV Süd (Germany).
Scope of work of Senn AG:

Project management and construction of complete gondolas. (Suspension delivered by the client).

Manufacturing of mechanical parts such as doors, base frame and passenger restraint system.

Coordination with subcontractor of GRP parts.

Final Assembly and approval by TüV.
In 2006, Senn AG has developed (and prepared for serial production) the prototype of a drive unit for a solar power plant with single axis tracking.
Thanks to this continous repositioning of the solar panels troughout the day (from East to West), efficiency in the electricity production can be improved.
